- Sébastien Lasnier is a neuroscientist and founder of SYNAPTYS neuroscience, a biotechnology company in Paris-Saclay, named best Alzheimer's drug development company of the year 2026 (World Health & Pharmaceutical Awards) and a winner of the Réseau Entreprendre Essonne award. A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine in Poitiers with a degree in Business Administration (Harvard), he has served as Research & Development Director for a European group, scientific advisor to neurologists and psychiatrists, and founded three biotechnology startups in France and the United States. Holder of several patents, he is also an author, TEDx speaker, and leads science outreach presentations.
